Ingredients

Salmon: Skinless salmon fillet.

Seasoning: Salt and black pepper.

Condiment: Mayonnaise or you can use oil.

Salsa: Mild Salsa.

Herb: Freshly chopped cilantro.

How to make baked salmon with salsa

Preheating oven: Preheat oven to 425 F.

Seasoning salmon: Season your salmon with salt and black pepper and allow to stand for a few minutes before spreading with mayonnaise.

Spreading mayonnaise: Add enough mayonnaise to coat both sides of the salmon.

Topping with salsa: Into a deep baking dish add your salmon and top with your salsa.

Baking: Bake your salmon uncovered for about 20-25 minutes or until the thermometer reads 145F.

Adding cilantro: Chop fresh cilantro and garnish your salmon!

  • 1.96 lb salmon fillet, skinless
  • 3-4 tbsp of mayonnaise or enough to coat the salmon
  • 1 16 oz mild thick/chunky salsa
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1-2 tbsp freshly chopped cilantro for garnish

  • Preheat oven to 425F.
  • Season salmon with salt and black pepper and allow to stand for a few minutes before adding the mayonnaise.
  • Spread your salmon with mayonnaise; enough to coat your salmon.
  • Into a deep baking dish add your salmon and top with salsa.
  • Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until your thermometer reaches 145F.
  • Once baked garnish with freshly chopped cilantro!
