Ingredients for Canapés:

Bread: Country French bread or a baguette.

Peppers: Red, orange, yellow and green bell peppers.

Carrots: Shredded carrots.

Condiment: Mayonnaise.

Cheese: Shredded mozzarella cheese.

Seasoning: Salt, black pepper and garlic powder.

How to make Canapés:

Prepping ingredients and cooking: Deseed and julienne the peppers. Peel and shred your carrots. In a large pan on a low to medium heat add your oil. Add your peppers and cook until halfway cooked. Tip: you can use a lid to cook the peppers faster. Then add in your carrots and cook until peppers are wilted. Season with salt, black pepper and garlic powder. Transfer your mixture into a strainer, removing the extra oil.

Cutting the bread: Slice the french bread.

Spreading mayonnaise: Spread mayonnaise on each slice of bread.

Topping with filling/cheese: Top with the pepper filling and add cheese. Sprinkle with some garlic powder on top.

Baking: Bake at 350F until cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
