Garlic Green Beans with Bread Crumbs

This side dish only consists of 4 ingredients! Green beans coated in a garlic butter sauce, with toasted bread crumbs. It’s a super easy dish to make for any holiday or event!

Ingredients for Green Beans

Green beans: Firm green beans

Butter: Unsalted butter

Garlic: Medium garlic cloves, crushed

Bread crumbs: Italian bread crumbs

How to make green beans

Prep the green beans: Cut the ends of the green beans. Blanch your green beans and dry them with a paper towel.

Cook in pan: Add butter to a big pan and allow to melt on a low to medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant. Add green beans, mix and cover with a lid. Constantly mix until beans become tender. Add breadcrumbs and mix. Season with salt/pepper and add butter. Mix and allow to cook until bread crumbs are toasted.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs of green beans
  • 4 tbsp of butter
  • 6-7 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 1/2 cup of Italian bread crumbs

Instructions
 

  • Cut off the ends of your green beans. Blanch your green beans and dry them with a paper towel.
  • In a big pan on low to medium heat, add 3 tbsp of butter. Allow to melt and add your garlic. Cook 1-2 or until fragrant.
  • Add your green beans, stir and cover with a lid. Constantly mix and allow to cook until beans are fork tender. It can take up to 15 minutes. Add your bread crumb and mix. Season with salt and pepper and add 1 tbsp of butter. Mix and cook until bread crumbs are golden and toasted. Enjoy!
