Ingredients for Grinder Salad:

Bread crumbs: Homemade or store bought.

Cheese: Provolone cheese.

Deli meat: Pepperoni, ham and salami.

Lettuce: Iceberg lettuce.

Onion: Red onion.

Pepperoncini: Sliced pepperoncini.

Dressing: Mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano and salt.

How to make Grinder Salad:

Prepping Ingredients: Shred your iceberg lettuce, julienne your onion, slice your cherry tomatoes in half and chop up your pepperoncini. Cut up your cheese and deli meats into ribbon pieces.

Making the dressing: Into a bowl or measuring cup, add mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, oregano, oil and salt. Mix with a whisk until well combined.

Laying out salad: Into a bowl layout as following lettuce, deli meats, cheese, onions, pepperoncinis, cherry tomatoes, and bread crumbs.

Adding dressing to salad: Drizzle with your dressing and toss your salad until well combined.

  • 1/2 of a iceberg lettuce head
  • 1/2 cup of cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup of pepperoncinis
  • 1/4 of a red onion
  • 2 provolone cheese slices
  • 3 salami slices
  • 3 ham slices
  • 3 big pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup of homemade breadcrumbs

Dressing

  • 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp of red wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp  of olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp of oregano
  • pinch of salt or to taste

Instructions
 

  • Shred your iceberg lettuce, julienne your onion, slice your cherry tomatoes in half and chop up your pepperoncinis. Cut up your cheese and deli meats into ribbon pieces.
