Questions Asked:

Why do I season the shrimp on one side with salt?

Basil pesto has parmesan cheese and salt in it. If I season both sides of the shrimp, then it will be salty since the cheese contains sodium in it. I would recommend checking the amount of salt your pesto haves, cause then you won’t need to season the shrimp if it has a lot of salt. But if using my recipe of basil pesto, then you will have to salt the shrimp on one side.
