This tuna sandwich is easy, light and refreshing to make. Made up of tuna, hard boiled eggs, celery, onions and pickles!
Ingredients for Tuna Sandwich
Tuna: Canned tuna.
Eggs: Hard boiled eggs.
Celery: Fresh celery.
Mayonnaise: Regular or vegan.
Onions: Scallions or your choice of onion.
Pickles: Canned pickles.
Bread: White bread or whole wheat.
Salt/ Pepper: Kosher salt and white pepper.
How to make Tuna Sandwich
Prepping Tuna: Open your tuna can and remove out any liquid. Flake up your tuna with a fork.
Prepping the pickles: Chop your pickles into a small dice and squeeze the juice out of them.
Grating eggs: Grate your eggs on the fine side of the grater.
Chopping celery and onions: Chop your onions and celery into a small chop.
Add everything into a bowl: Add all of your ingredients into a bowl and mix. Season with salt and white pepper.
Cutting your bread: Cut your bread slices diagonally.
Spreading on bread: Spread the tuna mixture on one of the bread slice and close with the other bread slice.
- 5 oz tuna can
- 3 hard boiled eggs
- 1/2 cup of pickles, chopped
- 1/2 cup of celery
- 1/2 cup of scallions, chopped
- 5 tbsp of mayonnaise
- 1/8 tsp of white pepper
- salt to taste
- Drain the liquid from the tuna. Flake the tuna with a fork. Grate your eggs on the fine side of the grater. Chop your celery and pickles into a small chop.
- Squeeze out the juice out of the pickles and add all of your ingredients into a bowl and mix. Season with salt and white pepper. Cut your bread slices diagonally and spread the mixture on one of the bread slice and close with the other bread slice.
- Serve fresh and enjoy!
