Green Cabbage Salad

Fresh, healthy and light! Let me introduce you to a green cabbage salad! Super refreshing and filled with lots of nutrients!

  • 1 medium green cabbage
  • 1 whole cucumber
  • .5 oz or a whole bunch of fresh dill
  • 1/4 cup of sunflower oil
  • 1/8 tsp of black pepper
  • salt to taste

  • Cut your cabbage in half and then in fourths. Remove the core as shown in the video. Shred your cabbage with a knife or a mandolin.
  • Add about 1 1/2 tsp of kosher salt and 1/8 tsp of black pepper to your cabbage. Mix and lightly press down the cabbage a couple times as shown in the video. This will help the cabbage to become wilted faster. Allow the cabbage to sit for a couple of minutes or until it becomes wilted.
  • Chop your cucumber and finely chop your fresh dill. Add your dill, cucumbers, oil to the cabbage and mix with your hands or fork. Add additional salt, if needed.
  • Serve fresh or store in the fridge for up to 2 days.
