Sift your flour, baking powder and baking soda into a bowl. Then add your sugar and salt to the mixture without sifting it. Use a whisk to mix everything up.
In another bowl add all of your wet ingredients and mix with a whisk.
Add in your wet ingredients to your dry ingredients.
Use a spatula to fold in the ingredients together.
Make sure you don’t over mix the batter. Mix it just until there’s no flour shown. There will be some lumps left but do not mix it.
Let your pancake batter stand for 10 minutes so it can come together.
Place your nonstick pan on a low to medium heat.
Add 1/4 cup of your pancake batter onto the middle of the pan.
Once you start noticing bubbles on top of your pancake and a light golden color on the bottom of your pancake, it is time to flip it (you can flip it with a fish spatula). Once flipped, you will notice your pancake starting to rise. To know that your pancake is ready, you can look at the bottom to see if it golden or use a toothpick and pierce the pancake in the middle. If it comes out clean then its cook through perfectly.
To keep your pancakes warm, you can place them into the oven at 200 F on a sheet pan.
Serve with butter and a splash of maple syrup. Enjoy!
